Re: In case you missed Palin's home run...

"But listening to him speak, it's easy to forget that this is a man who has authored two memoirs but not a single major law or even a reform, not even in the State Senate."

Exactly what PVVikefan has been preaching all along. He is charismatic as a speaker, but brings no real experience to the position he wants to hold. And when it comes to experience in an executive position - nada, nil, none. If he were white, he would never have made it this far.
"Yes, there are two paths you can go by
    But in the long run
There's still time to change the road you're on."

Same deal for the lady, she talks about holding the line on taxes while robbing the federal taxes blind for her little town. And to tell the truth, the reason taxes will have to go is that some fool made up a reason to start a war , spent a fortune we didn't have to waste and still hasn't gotten the folks that really attacked this country. But all that will easily be forgotten and the sheep will follow blindly again. Man, I wish someone else in either party was running.

Re: In case you missed Palin's home run...

I remind you that most democrats were with Bush in his decision to send troops to Iraq. The Constitution allows for the president to send troops to defend our interests, at home and abroad. So what? You all need to quit "crying" over spilled milk.

The truth is, I would not trust Obama for a second, as he has proven time and time again that he can not reach a decision during critical votes in the senate. How many times did he vote "present" instead of casting a "yea" or "Nay" vote? He said he voted against the war in Iraq, yet, when you look at his record, he wasn't in office at the time the vote was taken.

I am with ut1, if this man was white, then we wouldn't even be having this conversation as he wouldn't even be on a party ticket at all. He is a nominee for one reason only and we all know what it is, and for fear of retaliation nobody will say it. But I will, he is black. But if you look at it, he isn't really black, nor is he white either.

No crying- the folks of both parties and the whole country were lied to to start the war. And the key phrase is "To defend our interests" , not on a whim. Last line I put up, I think was I wish either party was running someone else. You guys are just having a hard time admitting the last 8 years have sucked.

Not saying they haven't sucked, I actually thin Bush is a "boob", but that doesn't mean that just because McCain is republican that he is a boob.

Where did I mention McCain? He isn't my fav person. but till he hooked up with Al-aska , he wasn't doing too bad. She has a load of baggage. Check how much she spent (taxes)and what she claims in her speech. It is easy to do. Then you have to scratch your head and wonder why he chose her.

Everyone knows why he chose her, she is a woman. To think otherwise is stupidity. But at the same time, the democratice party chose someone who is just black enough to get the black vote, but at the same time, white enough to get a lot of white votes. In my mind, that is just as absurd as picking Palin.

Now how can you go bringing up facts like this. Does present mean nay in "organizing".

That is what most experts are saying, that she hit a homerun with listeners.
Will you ever rise up and fight for your God-given rights? History shows that evil triumphs when good men do nothing.
